Jana Vass (she/her) is a first-generation Australian of Carpatho-Rusyn and Hungarian heritage. She is a versatile arts worker & administrator, interested in collaborating with artists & arts workers who challenge the cultural, political, and social norms, and to present these ideas through existing works and new Australian writing. 

She was the Creative Producer (Logistics) for kwento, working on various projects & productions, including Ate Lovia (2022, Red Line Productions), The Marriage Agency (2021, bAKEHOUSE Theatre, Storylines Festival - Pre Production) and One Hour No Oil (2021, bAKEHOUSE Theatre, Main Season - Pre Production). 

Her current credits include The Linden Solution (2021, Ratcatch Theatre & bAKEHOUSE Theatre), ATYP On Demand (2020, Australian Theatre for Young People), The Spoils (2020, Flightpath Theatre), April Aardvark (2019, Australian Theatre for Young People), Van De Maar Papers (2019, Old 505 Theatre & Ratcatch Theatre), I (Love) You (2019, Old 505 Theatre & ladylike theatre collective), Extinction of the Learned Response (2019, Belvoir St Theatre, as part of the 25A season & Glitterbomb), The Divorce Party (2019, Old 505 Theatre & life after productions), In Between (2018, Sprung Festival of Creativity), and Cosi (2018, Cycle Productions). 

Other credits include UNFOLD and Scratch Night (2019, Ignite Collective with New Ghosts Theatre Company) as the Production Assistant, Catapult Festival (2018, Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre), Inland Sea of Sound (2016, Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre) and the Youth Entertainment Reference Group (2012 – 2015, Campbelltown City Council).
