Jana Vass (she/her) is a first-generation Australian of Carpatho-Rusyn and Hungarian heritage arts worker, living and working in between unceded Gadigal Country and Dharug Country. Her strong work ethic has spurred her to work with various companies and agencies, on various productions & projects, throughout the years, including Screen Australia, kwento, Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) , Kings Cross Theatre (KXT), Redline Productions, and more.
She is interested in collaborating with artists & arts workers who challenge the cultural, political, and social norms through existing works and new Australian writing.
Credits include The Linden Solution (2021), ATYP On Demand (2020), The Spoils (2020), April Aardvark (2019), Van De Maar Papers (2019), I (Love) You (2019), Extinction of the Learned Response (2019), The Divorce Party (2019), and In Between (2018). She was also the Production Assistant for IGNITE Collective, and organised events such as Scratch Night and UNFOLD (2019).
