In the carpark of a Chinese restaurant, four smokers debate the truth around the divorce party inside.

 

Gene, a banker with a persistent nosebleed, Dora, an oddly nosy postwoman, Frank, a funeral photographer with a grudge, and Annette, a hairdresser and the divorcee's sister-in-law.

 

When passing sirens startle the group into speculation, the blame game soon involves them all.
