About:
kwento was created in December 2020 seeking to create new Australian works, that challenge the norms of Australian society. The core aims is to produce and present engaging and diverse work whilst creating opportunities for artists across experience levels and disciplines.

Responsibilities:

Working with other Creative Producers in kwento to develop budgets, schedules, and reports for all artistic and logistical purposes;

Drafted and distributed reports, minutes, schedules, budgets, notes, agreements and policies to team members internally and externally;

Distributed contracts curated externally by Media Arts Lawyers to new and existing arts workers who collaborated with kwento, and maintained consistent contact between all parties to ensure satisfaction;

Was responsible for grant applications for local, state and federal arts bodies including Create NSW, City of Sydney, the Australian Council for the Arts and more;
-
Organised meetings when appropriate through emails, video conferencing, and phone calls for internal and external stakeholders;

Was responsible for marketing and publicity on social media and other public relations;

Ensured that all WH&S legislation, policies, procedures, and work practices are implemented and adhered to and managing risk assessments as required including COVID-19 protocols, Cultural policies, and more; and
-
Collaborated and liaised with all aspects for optimum delivery on productions, projects, and partnerships.
Achievements:
-
Created and curated a multitude of partnerships across the Sydney theatre sector including bAKEHOUSE Theatre, RedLine Productions, and more;
-
Had all 2022 productions funded and supported by Create NSW & City of Sydney;

Produced a near sold out season of Ate Lovia despite COVID-19 challenges;

Curated networking opportunities with internal and external stakeholders, specifically with and for People Of Colour (POC) and CaLD (Culturally and Linguistic Diverse) communities across the Sydney Metropolitan area & Western Sydney; and
-
Produced the pre-production of ‘The Marriage Agency’ and ‘One Hour No Oil’ before departure.
